Hi {{ first_name | }}

Now that we are in the swing of Q1, the plan switches from “new year new business goals,” to “keep momentum on said goals through daily practice.”

…you know, the hard part!

Here’s a few tips to help make it easier for you, and your content.

1) Do a “content audit” that takes 20 minutes, not 20 hours

Open your analytics and find:

  • your top 5 posts, episodes, or videos

  • your top traffic source

  • one piece that almost performs but needs love

Now do the easiest upgrade:

  • tighten the intro

  • add a better CTA

  • update the title

  • add a content upgrade or opt in

  • refresh Pinterest images or Youtube thumbnails

2) Turn one idea into three formats

Pick one topic your audience needs right now and repurpose it.

Example:

  • Blog post or podcast episode: the full story

  • Email newsletter: the punchy takeaway + link

  • Pinterest pin or short video: one specific tip from it

Same message. Three entry points.

3) Stop trying to be everywhere! Pick one “distribution lane”

This February has just 28 days. Let’s pick one lane and commit for 28 days:

  • Pinterest for evergreen traffic

  • or YouTube for search discovery

  • or email for conversions and audience-nurturing

Try to avoid any other platform.

Not because the other platforms are bad, but because your attention is expensive and Pinterest, YouTube and email have longevity.

4) Add one simple conversion upgrade

This is the part a lot of creators skip because it is not as fun as designing a new Canva graphic.

Pick one:

  • Add an opt in to your top post

  • Add a pinned comment with your link

  • Add an internal link from 5 older posts to your newest one

  • Add a “start here” page

  • Add a welcome email that points to your best content

  • Add a lead magnet to your top YouTube video descriptions

5) Schedule one “CEO hour” each week

Put it on your calendar like it is an appointment.

This hour is for:

  • planning what you are publishing

  • tracking what is working

  • deciding what to stop doing

  • setting one revenue focused action

It is hard to grow a business when you only operate in reaction mode.

Better Content. More Sales.

Pick one piece of content you already have and make it 20 percent better.

Not perfect. Better.

If you want a deeper plan, stay tuned because coming up in early February, I’ll be sharing a resource that will help you monetize your content better so you can convert more sales from content, without having to create more content.

In the meantime, watch this video about types of revenue streams that don’t add value to your business when it comes time to exit…ones that can actually cause potential buyers run away!
